Hello, my name is St. Polycarp. I was born on February 23 sometime between the years 69 AD and 155 AD in Smyrna. I followed Jesus by not following Roman leaders and worshiping only God, not Roman gods. I was also a bishop. I also served people in the church by helping them believe in Christians. I did not perform any miracles in my life. I died at the age 89 in Smyrna.I was killed for not worshiping Roman gods. The Roman leaders tried to burn me, but it didn't work, so they got a sword and slashed me. I am a martyr so I became a saint. My feast day is February 23.
